PANTONE & AIRBNB DESIGNED THE OUTSIDE-IN HOUSE – ULTIMATE GREEN VACATION

It’s all about green the Pantone-coloured house in London called Outside-in House !

Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2017, the vivid citrus-y green, official called Greenery,  is meant to be really soothing. According to Pantone’s Leatrice Eiseman, “This is the colour of hopefulness, and of our connection to nature. It speaks to what we call the ‘re’ words: regenerate, refresh, revitalise, renew.”
So we’re guessing with the world literally going crazy with last political and social events, that’s why Airbnb and Pantone felt the need to disign a literal green escape room in the heart of London. Located at 4 Dingley Place, Clerkenwell, this apartment looks like a standard London flat from the outside, but on closer inspection reveals a virtual wonderland the second you open the Pantone Greenery-painted door.
If you are looking for a green escape it is available to rent on Airbnb. When you step inside the front door and your senses are immediately assaulted by the lush forestry, ferns, and plants. Upon entry, a greenskeeper will offer you a green juice (nothing better, don’t ask for any other juice) and you’ll be left to explore the indoor greenhouse/dining room, grass-floored bedroom, hydroponics installation, rainforest bathroom and kitchen complete with a living herb garden.

The house was created with sustainability in mind – many of the materials were recyclable, too. Sadly, the listing was only open on Airbnb.co.uk for three days at the end of January,  we hope that the Outside-in house will be the first example, and many of these will pop up soon.
